Ron Kokinda Worked with Known Anti-Semite; Attacked Banking as Satanic, Israel as a Zombie State

Entry Overview: Ron Kokinda is a longtime staffer and supporter of the late Lyndon LaRouche, a known anti-semite, and the PAC that still exists supporting LaRouche’s views, which was once described by the The Heritage Foundation as “one of the strangest political groups in America.”
Key Facts:
Ron Kokinda is affiliated with far-right activism organization LaRouche PAC.
In May 1986, Kokinda was an aide for LaRouche
A July 1984 report from conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation stated: “publications and rhetoric of the LaRouche network will end up with positions that are favorable to the Soviet Union.”
From the beginning of his political career in the 1950s, LaRouche promoted conspiracy theories such as the idea that “Israel is ruled from London as a zombie-nation.”
Why it Matters: Lyndon LaRouche, his supporters and staff have a long history of sharing conspiracy theories about Israel, banks and other tropes that have been accepted as anti-semetic rhetoric. Kokinda’s over 50 years of activism on behalf of LaRouche and his values brings into question where his loyalties lie.
Full Entry: Ron Kokinda and his wife began following known anit-semite Lyndon LaRouche in 1971 and have worked as staff members as well as remaining as supporters to the present day. In May of 1986, Kokinda worked as an aide to Lyndon LaRouche and helped a candidate in North Carolina who argued for a quarantine of AIDS patients.
In 2022, Kokinda shared a post in a pro-LaRouche Facebook group that called central banking satanic. This is just one example of Kokinda attacking tools of capitalism while using anti-Jewish tropes about bankers.
Conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation sounded the alarm on Lyndon LaRouche and his views, accusing LaRouche and his followers of supporting positions that were favorable to the Communist Soviet Union. LaRouche was known for wild conspiracy theories about anyone who won an election. Can we really trust that Ron Kokinda will be true to the conservative values he now professes to support?
